Hi guys,

It's been two years since i wrote my last post. Gosh! i kinda miss my blogging time.

Last time was different. I was a student and i had so much free time that i could find inspiration for a blog.

Well, now i am a full time slave to a big company and i merely have time to think of anything else.

There are so many things happen for the past 2 years. Ups and downs, sad and good, success and failure.

All of it has made a whole new ME. Its a better ME of course.

First thing first I want to update is , i am ~~still~~ in Singapore, the kiasu land. Secondly, i am 26 years old now (sigh) and lastly, i am working as a full time slave to a big company here.

Nothing much to tell about my job. Its not that i don't want to write, but its kinda dangerous to pen it down anything related about my job.

What am i do everyday?

Well, basically i am back to square one again. Back to the normal "ditsy" life.

My daily activities such as sleep (yes! i do spend more than 12 hrs daily), facestalking, doing skin/hair/body and soul treatment, watch melodrama series and cried over it, and partaaayy.

Seriously, my life would've been more colorful if i have the courage to do something different.

But my energy already been sucked out mainly for work.

Anyway, i guess its nuff said.

Anger Managment : A True Story

When you occassionally have a really bad day,

and you just need to take it out on someone,

don't take it out on someone you know,

take it out on someone you don't know.

It all started one day when I was sitting at my desk and remembered a phone call I had forgotten to make.

I found the number and dialed it.

A man answered, saying, "hello."

I politely said, "This is Chris.

May I please speak with Robin Carter?"

Suddenly, the phone was slammed down on me. I couldn't believe that anyone would be so rude.

I tracked down Robin's correct number and called her.

I had transposed the last two digits of her phone number.

After hanging up with her, I decided to call the 'wrong' number again.

When the same guy answered the phone, I yelled, "you're an idiot!" and hung up.

I wrote his number down with the word idiot next to it, and put it in my desk drawer.

Every couple of weeks, when I was paying bills or had a really bad day, I'd call him up and yell,
"you're and idiot!"

It always cheered me up.

When caller ID came to our area, I thought my therapeutic 'idiot' calling would have to stop.

So, I called his number and said, "hi, this is John Smith from the Telephone Company, I'm just
calling to see if you're interested in the Caller ID Program?"

He yelled "NO!" and slammed the phone down.

I quickly called him back and said, "that's because you're an idiot!"

One day I was at a store, getting ready to pull into a parking spot.

Some guy in a bl@ck BMW cut me off and pulled into the spot I had patiently waited for.

I hit the horn and yelled that I had been waiting for that spot.

The idiot ignored me.

I noticed a 'For Sale' sign on his car window, so I wrote down his number.

A couple of days later, right after calling the first idiot, (I had his number on speed dial by now), I
thought I had better call the BMW idiot, too.

I said, "is this the man with the bl@ck BMW for sale?"

"Yes, it is," he said.

"Can you tell me where I can see it?" I asked.

"Yes, I live at 1802 West 34th Street. It's a yellow house and the car's parked right out front."

"What's your name?" I asked.

"My name's Don Hansen," he replied.

"When's a good time to catch you Don?" I said.

"I'm home every evening after five," he said.

"Listen, Don, can I tell you something?" I asked.

"Yes?" he said.

"Don, you're an idiot."

Then I hung up and added his number to my speed dial.

After several weeks of calling the two of them alternately, I figured there was an even better
idea.

So I called the first idiot: "You're an idiot!"

I shouted (but I didn't hang up)

"Are you still there?" he asked.

"Yeah," I replied

"Stop calling me!" he screamed.

"Make me," I said.

" What's your name?" he demanded.

"Don Hansen," I responded.

"Where do you live?" he asked.

"Idiot, I live at 1802 West 34th Street, a yellow house with a beamer parked right in front." I
said.

"Alright Don, you better start saying your prayers because I'm coming over right now!" he said.

"Ha! Like I'm really scared, idiot." I said.

Then I called idiot 2. "Hello?" he said.

"Hello idiot." I said.

He yelled, "if I ever find out who you are!"

"You'll what?" I asked.

"I'll kick your @ss!" he exclaimed.

I answered, "well here's your chance, idiot. I'm coming over right now.

Then I hung up and immediately called the police, saying that I live at 1802 West 34th Street,
and that I was on my way over there to kill my g@y lover.

Then I called Channel 4 News about the gang war going down on West 34th Street.

I quickly got into my car and drove over to 34th Street.

There I saw two idiots beating the crap out of each other in front of 6 squad cars, a police
helicopter, and a news crew.

Now I feel much better.

Man, anger management really works!

. Weirdo and Irritating Season I .

Weird part 1: While i was jogging at the park nearby my place, I saw a guy , wearing a black shirt, black pants, a black cloak, black hat... and feeding a bunch of crows!!! and he whistled to it too! weirdo!

Weird part 2: On the other day, i saw a guy at MRT station, was wearing a black turban, a black mixed dark green cloak, black Alladin pants, and black shirt.. he got a little bit moustache and ~~i think~~ a thin eyeliner... I was like ........... dumbfounded.... and stupid thoughts flashed into my mind, that either he was a terrorist that going to blow Toa Payoh MRT or he was a wizard from Hogwart.
He is so weird!

Weird part 3: I saw a grandma, aged around 60, tanned, skinny, bony and wrinkled. She was wearing a mini dress, striking red, with laces and guess what. It was so mini, until i could see her tacky red panties! She was so confident, walking on the road like nobody business. She used a heavy make up and walked with a grandpa, which i think not her husband. I didn't know she was aware or not, that everybody staring at her. I wish i could snap a photo at that moment. So weirdo!

Weird part 4: I entered a wrong block twice!! i am weirdo too :(

Irritating part 1: one of my friend msg me at facebook: " ...hhehehehe..btw i will come to Singapore 14-24 August...lets hang out.. i need people to accompany me for afternoon only ... after 5, i will be BUSY...hehehe..."
WTF?! first of all, who the hell are you? president? the-most-important-person in the world?! secondly, i don't care and i am not desperate of your accompaniment. Lastly, i am busy with my own things! I barely have time for myself, and i still have to spare with you?! i better spare it with the loved one..

Irritating part 2: One of the thing that i need to submit to the manpower office is a passport photograph, and i do have my own (btw, i look good in that photo! .lol.). But I don't know somehow, they didn't accept my own passport photo, so they asked me to take a new photo again. So i went out, and took a snap on next door photo shop.
It cost me $6 for an ugly and unready face, ~~it looks like a mugshot!~~. I feel so cheated, because end up, they just need my photo to scan it!

Irritating part 3: There is someone i get to know recently ( I hope she isn't reading this ). She is irritating bitch. A lonely bitch that keep asking me and my friends to go outing. She called me and she msg me few times while i was outstation. Please, give it up! It is so annoying. She also lied about one thing and she gossips a lot! hahaha.. ~~i love the gossips part only~~.

Irritating part 4: He keep mentioning to me, "If you work hard, you will be rewarded" like a xxxx times! i am so sick with it. I know that i have to work hard.It isn't necessary to mention it many times. Is like you don't trust me and worry that i will be slacking. Sigh. I will toughen up!

Finally,there is a small tiny golden light which shining amongst the darkness, dullness and turmoil in my life.

To be dramatic, There is a HOPE.

Well, the reason i am not writing for so long is because of the dullness in my life for the past couple of months.

I prefer to share it with myself and my own private diary.

Despite of all my worries, i am still thank God for what i have.

Even though sometimes i cursed and complained about how tough my life now, but after i think back about it, i feel that my life is so much better

compare to other people who are hunger to death now.

Anyway, i manage to get myself a job, ~~finally~~.

Not to say a prestige one, but i think it will be the foundation of my career.

I am still waiting for the working permit and medical check up.

Hopefully everything goes smoothly and i can start my job as soon as possible.

maybe my friend will choose K and L.

I won’t say my friend is wrong.

you see, for him/her, K and L is his/her satisfaction.

If let say, he was forced to take B and D,

People nowadays just can’t stop pushing their perception to others.

Sometimes i heard people saying that, why have to buy branded items, its stupid.

Well, for some people, it is their satisfaction.

Is like Michael Jackson compulsive surgeries.

Maybe it was his obsession after all.

Maybe he gave himself a nose job as a reward after his hard work through a tiring tour concert.

We never know,right?

So people don’t judge him or saying that he is weird.

He might not weird.

Which Finger is the most important?

We have 5 fingers which are:

the short and fat one is thumb,

followed by index finger,

middle finger, ring finger,

and the last tiny one is pinky or little finger.

Tell me which one is the most important one?

i mean if let say you have to sacrifice one of your finger *touch wood*

which one you think you will give up?

ok, lets describe more the function of each fingers.

Thumb:

support the other fingers. without thumb, i think your fingers practically disabled.

Thumb is like a father in family. The tough and the fattest one. ~~sorry,dad~~.

Index:

to point a direction, to dig your nose ~~sometimes~~, to call someone to come,

to dial a numbers, the total results will be max if it’s collaborated with thumb.

such as writing, typing, grooming, picking up something, and so on.

Index is like a mom in the family. The supporting role, but also important.

middle:

only one essential function of this finger, when you hate someone, you can just show your middle finger

and it will save your other nasty and unnecessary sentences from your mouth.

but overall, it doesn’t really as important as thumb and index.

it does support when you typing or carried a bag. It gives you strength.

but how if you lost your middle finger? does it change a lot?

ring:

It is definitely IMPORTANT for me! i mean, can you imagine if you don’t have your ring finger.

and when your newly husband proposing. He about to put the ring on your finger and…. opps.. where should i put this ring on?

Its disaster!

pinky:

I guess this is the most useless finger. What you can do with pinky?

its the tiniest one. You hardly lift a pouch with it.

Mostly, its use for digging out nose, ~~that is why lala and ahbeng like to keep their pinky nails so long.~~

Even comes to this diggy things, you can replace it with index,

Well, i think most of the fingers have its own function.

It is like a little family, consist of 5 members.

thumb is for supporting another 4 fingers, often collaboration with index finger.

like hold a cup’s ear, or picking up a paper, hand signal for O.K.

If you want to add extra strength to your grab, you will add middle finger.

You practically need your first four fingers.

and what does the little finger do?

digging your nose hole? ear hole? or scratching?

So which one should i let go? ( if in case i have to *touch wood*)

.Right Decision.

I am currently looking for job opportunity in Singapore.

I know it is a tough time right now.

Some said, it is not a right time to look for a job at Singapore.

Due to this reasons, some people advice me to take any job or any opportunity that comes to my eyes.

Some said, “don’t be choosy, take whatever you got, just for temporary. You can change your job once the situation getting better”

Well, its true in some way.

But for me, i have my own thought

I think its better don’t waste my time with the job that i don’t like.

Going to work everyday with a feel don’t-want-to-go-office mood,

Feel hating and sick the job so much, hate the people, hate the environment.

Is like, you don’t enjoy in what you’re doing, and eventually

it will affect your performance.

You know what i mean.

End up, you will resign in, let say 6 months after you work.

Unwise.

And i have to start all over again.

buying newspaper everyday,

browsing Jobstreet.com

asking around.

no money.

It’s really wasting my time

and at the same time, wasting the company time!

which they had hired us, conducted training for us,

and end up we want to quit.

Its unfair for them.

Now,

I know i will feel suffering for the first 2 months,

No job, no money, no luxury life, no indulgence.

but i have to bear with it.

Do i have a choice? ~~I do, but i have to choose it wisely~~

I always think,

In spite of the severe downturn, most of the companies still moving on.

They are running as normally as it used to be. 9 am-5pm.

and in anyway, they still need new staffs.

So i WILL get a job.

I am like a blank paper now.

I still fresh.

I don’t know what field that i will enjoy.

Could be event, marketing, sales, logistic, banking, hospitality, tourism or airlines?

It could be anything.

And i feel that i have to be careful with my first step.

I don’t want to simply choose the unwise step.

and end up, realizing that i don’t like this industry.

Hoping around from one job to another job.

My first step suppose to be my first introduction.

I really wish i get something that i like,

something that related to my study field at least.

The journey to get clothes hanger.

Mission: to buy clothes hanger

.1200hrs.
I went out around 12 noon.
Feel so hungry and decided to get brunch.
I reached the food court around 12.15pm, bought some food, drink
and finished around 12.15 pm.
On the the way to accomplished the mission, i went to duplicate my key, $1.

.1300hrs.
Browsed some shops around the Toa Payoh shops lot
I found it, but its quite big and that wasn't what i want.
Its $23.
Nevermind, i searched further.
Maybe the thing that i want is somewhere else..
So, I went to Save and Shop. 1.30pm
Found nothing.
Continue to Fair price 1.45pm.
Searching for the entire 2nd floor.
Found nothing.

.1400hrs.
Walked further, and entered Courts 2.15pm.
Found nothing.
I was like, damn, why is it so hard?! it just to find a simple thing.
I had visited the two biggest supermarket near my house, but the result was NiL.
So i decided to go Carefour Dhoby Ghaut.
Maybe more choices.
Went MRT station 2.30pm
On the way, claimed two"noncollectable" deposit of one way MRT tickets. ~~damn!~~
wasted $2.
ning nong..ning nong..
Reached Plaza Singapura 2.45pm.
Entered Carefour and directly went to house appliances section.
I found the item, but it wasn't my expectation.
Its exactly the same item with the one i found at shop lot?!?! T_T
If this is the case, i better take the one at the shop lot.
At least i won't have to carry it so far away.
The thing is pretty heavy!
So i decided to go back to the shop lot and buy that :*

.1500hrs.
I reached at the shop lot again.
Bought the clothes line for $23, newspaper $1and mats $10.
Walked back home after that.
It was quite a distant.
The weather wasn't that compromising.
Sweating like hell.

On the way home, i found the same item, BUT cheaper!!! $17
and comes in red color! *sigh sigh*
Reached home 3.20pm

End up the item quality wasn't that good

I got new lappie .. yeay!
Not new actually, i got it few weeks ago..
So, can consider as junior member of my "Crappy & Creepy collection".
Anyway, i handed my old precious lappie to my dad.
To the good hand.
He promised that he will repair and use it at home.
At least the old lappie won't work so hard again.
Can consider its retirement phase.

.I learn how to appreciate things.

When i was little kid.
My parent very2 seldom gave me stuffs.
Stuffs as in gift, present, toys, money, accessories, even coloring books!
I did have pocket money, but no extra pocket money.
I had to wait till Chinese New year Angpao or my birthday.

One time, i wanted a mermaid coloring book badly.
I really want it till i begged them many times.
Finally, they bought me that book.
That one also i need to photocopy it and shared with my bro and sis.

How i get my first pocket money?
There was one time, i saw a small make up case.
It was very cute, classy, and comes in a small bottle of old-fashion-perfume bottle ( see one of Britney Spears perfume collection ).
I want it so much, ~~and again~~ , i begged for it.
At that moment, my dad decided to give us allowance everyday.
He said, "you can save your allowance to buy this make up case"
He gave us Rp.500 per day.
It was consider small for me. Because the make up case i wanted, was much more expensive.
I need to save for like a month i guess.
End up, i never buy that make up case.

There was one time, when i was junior high school.
Mom went back from Singapore.
She bought me a t-shirt.
Very simple printed t-shirt.
I am super happy
I dare not wear it.
I want to preserve it. ~~If possible~~
I kept it nicely, and every time i unfolded it, it touched my heart again.
Because "this is from my mom"
She really care about me. I am special.
and i decided to wear it, when i thought " i have to wear it before it get expired or else i wasted mom's gift"
Guess what, i'm still wearing it til today!

I learn how to appreciate things.
Especially from someone that i loved.
I used to think why they are so stingy,
Are they poor?
Why i can't get what i want?

Things are not work like that.
We are not always get what we want just like wishing to a fairy-godmother
It takes effort and work to achieve it.
I never regret in how my parent taught me.
They are not poor.
But we are not spoiled.

Lesson one:

.DON'T SHAVE YOUR ARMPIT HAIR WITH YOUR BF SHAVER.

Never forget what i'm saying.
Do you know what happen?

Ok, this is a little bit disgusting.
One day
I noticed that my armpit's hair was already "out of control"
and decided to get rid of it.
But i was in dilemma ~~again~~.
whether to pluck or shave it.
If i pluck it, its gonna take sometimes.
and i wasn't in the mood to spend efforts on my armpit.
a ha,
Suddenly, a stupid idea triggered out of the blue moon.
You know how i got the idea.
I saw my bf not around,
I saw his shaver untouched.
and that's the moment i thought to take shave as an option.
I never use shaver, i mean as in electric shaver.
I wanted to know how it feels to be like a man.
So i took it,
pressed the "on"
and
"ngungggg...ngunggg..."
"brrrrr...brrr..."
"zzzz...zzzz"

hmm.. felt a bit pain.
but i didn't see blood or scratch.
It must be nothing ~~i guess~~ .
or maybe i don't get use with a man's stuffs.

went out from closet happily....♪

few hours after that...
i went shower.
and OMFG?!
my armpit skin was blo*dy pain!
its turned to be slightly radish.

ouch-ing for the entire bathroom session.
Sh*t!
Its because of my stupid idea and the stupid shaver...
arghh..
I swear to my bf shaver, that i would never use that again for my armpit.

but for other area? hmmm.... why not :P

LONG OR SHORT?

Its been days i had my dilemma.
it was whether to cut or not.
cut or keep it,
keep it or cut,
cut?
or keep it?
long or short?
short or long?
long?
or short?

weighted each plus and minus points,
long hair will looks girly and guys love long-hair-girl.
It covers your ~~too~~ broad shoulder.
You can curl it, braid it, make ponytail, cut different hairstyle, rebonding, style-it-up, and so on.
Just name it any style!
I do really lovessss long hair.
But minus points, you need to know how to take a good care of long hair.
Like, treatment for once a week, apply leave-in serum, vitamin, and conditioner.
So it will looks healthy and shining.
I mean no point you have a long hair but you are not taking care of it.
In conclusion, long hair is "expensive"
Besides, long hair is actually not suitable for girls who living in tropical country.
Hot and humid. Makes us sweating and uncomfortable.

What can you do with short hair?
I really have no idea.
I've been having a long hair for the last 10 years! ~~and i did cut my hair once a year~~ :p
But its definitely save your shampoo cost,
Reduce your treatment cost, i mean, we don't have to do treatment like once a month.
cause most probably you are going to trim your hair once a month or once in two months.
Moreover, its very very suitable for girls who living at tropical country.
Less perspiration, practical, easy to maintain, and you don't even have to comb it! Magic!
The minus point is the opposite of long-hair-own advantages. I mean, what style can you do with short hair?
braid? forget it!
pony tail? you don't have enough hair to do that?!
curl it? yucks! like my grandma?!

Despite of all the good and bad side,
I decided to cut all out!
C U T IT S H O R T!!

Some people might think that i'm in the middle of problem
broken hearted, shock, sad, pain, stressed out, messed up, loss money,
got fired, grounded, or whatever..
but I AM not.

I just fed up with my long hair.
really!
I swim a lot recently. Once in two days. (before i got heavy flu!)
and my hair is really irritate me!
I have to spend more than 1/2 hour in shower room!
arghh!
and my hair is getting frizzy because of heavy chlorine.
besides,
I don't know why, i really hates my long hair recently.
is like getting messier, untidy, not glossy, and tangled up!
and i sweats a lot recently and its because of MY LONG HAIR!

And i believe if i cut my hair short.
It would suit in my future career!
You know what i mean.. *wink*

I realize that i am lesser updating my blog recently.
People might think that I'm going out every single day,
but the fact is, i have been sitting in front of PC 24/7.
Start from early morning when the sun rises, and end up when the sun about to rise again.
and Yes! i am not online my MSN and replied all my message late.
What doing?
Busy with my shop :)
I just can't believe it that the business doing good so far.
Of course there are some little2 problem inside.
but overall, the responses are gooooood....
I am busy with my online customer service support,

Other than my shop, I fully dedicated my time to my beloved bf,
He is the man that i like to spend my time with.

We went out dating almost everyday.

I had been sitting for so long and try to find a better words.
But nothing came out.
I don't know whether its surprise or coincidence or what.but its something out of my expectation.
And it makes me smile....til now...

Today was very tired.
The pain has suffocated my leg to my butt.
I had stood all day long, promoting a solid bedroom set for $ 299.
Seeing the lots of so-called-potential buyers.smiling endlessly and laughing forcefully when its necessary
Suffering of the long working hours.

So once my watch showed 6pm,I rushed back to catch the train (KTM).
I was waiting fr a few sec.
And my train came.
I ran.
I wanted to fight for the seat.
nothing else really important.
I just want to have a nice comfy seat to ease my leg & butt pain.
so,i got the seat.
I seated tight and relax. i was enjoying the chillness of the aircon.
I was waiting for the train to go,but it didnt move.
its so classic for ktm to stop few mins.
i dint care,as long as i got my seat :)

While i was waiting,
Out of sudden,
The train staffs came from out of nowhere.
Approached me.
he handed my little blink bracelet nicely to me.

I caught off guard.

I didn't realize that i dropped my lovely bracelet.
I love my new bracelet.its handmade by my auntie,specially for me.and my sis too.
The bracelet string was cut off.
That was why its dropped.
I didn't want to be over confident,but the train delayed for a few mins because of me.
The train staff, was try to find me and returned it to me. *touched*
(because after he is out,the door closed and train departed)
I don't know who is he.
But i feel touched.
I didn't have chance to say a proper thank you.
Things were happen too fast.

I really appreciate your effort.
maybe the bracelet is meaningless to others
But it meant something to me.

Endless effort!

I wanna get something that can help me to update my blog anytime.
Sometimes when the ideas click, i wasn't in front of pc.
But now, when i'm with my pc.
totally blank.
no inspiration, no idea, nothing.
empty.
i think i need something to connect my mind to the blog.

in fact, she already started her second crawl, frontcrawl!

but you are not. In fact, you want it sooo much to be able to swim.
seeing the coach's fed up face.
Ya, i think she fed up see me making no progress at all.
that kind of feeling that makes me..sigh 1000x..

but to be honest.
i make a little progress.
im still scared of water ( pathetic, isn't it ?!),
but im able to dive my head inside the water!
i know its sounds so usual.
but for me, its a big progress! :D

Well,
i can't remember when is the last time i had wrote.
it's been ages i guess..

Pimp speciality is charisma. It has higher charisma then other character.
So once im done with the verification.
I could do a small robbery. Such as shoplift.
The robbery could up to 7-eleven, kidnapped, or more, depend on the respect you have.
The activity could earn me a respect and increase my talent: intelligent, charisma, strength and tolerance.
In return, my energy would be decreased as more activities were done.
But don't worry,
the energy can be refill in few easy steps.

GUIDELINES to be a perfect guy

Once upon a time, when me and Alice was very very bored.
We created a list.
A list of what kind of standard that we expected towards a single guy.
The background of this creation is because Alice was single ( too bad guys, she is taken now).
But after a long thought, it would be good if we share it to all the bachelor and single out there...

This list is just to guide you if you want to get your dream girl.
A friendly reminder that the list is only applicable if the girls have the feeling towards you.
( I mean its useless how perfect you are, but the girl doesn't love you)

here are the method of use:

-The check list with the "basic" words means that it is really a basic criteria and you have to meet the criteria at least 6 check points from each physical and attitude!

-The word "must" means you MUST be able to fit in the criteria in you. Like age criteria, there are the reasons why i emphasize older age as one of must criteria. Nudge me if you want to know more.

-The word "subjective" means its up to the dream girl. Like for example fair skin, for some girls, they like tanned guy, but for me i like fair guy. So its back to the girl again.

-Extra points means that if you have one of the criteria, it would increase one of you advantage point as a guy. Your dream girl will say things like " Wow, you are not only caring, but also have a stable career, what a good guy". So can you imagine if your dream girl are about to say like that.... You see, the more extra points, it will really add you extra "wow" from the girls..

Answer:
It is Lidi or what dictionary could translate is Palm Leaf Rib
My own translation is thin-chopstick.
It is really very thin.. like a Wantan noodle type..

This Lidi is basically crunchy and crispy, just like a noodles before you cook it.
The taste come in different type. The lighter color ( first from the right) is non-spicy and the striking reddish is very-spicy.

This was my childhood snack and they still sell it till today.
Back in 10 years ago, this stuffs was custom-flavor..
which means, we can put the red pepper powder up to our own level of spiceness.
and so do the seasoning (monosodium glutamate).
It is also offered with different sizes..
The one in the pictures is small size..

Where you can get it ?
I used to buy in front of my school..
It is a very popular snack among schoold kids.
Last time, one pack is about IDR 500- IDR 2500, depend on the size.
The shape is also vary. They have macaroni, thicker size, a bit curly, etc.
Nowadays, i think you can get it at school, campus, or anywhere on the street..

So, eating this stuff reminds me of my childhood...

Holiday is boring....

It is really plain and boring...
Nothing to do all day.

I didn't go out much too.
Neither with friends nor family..
Not because i don't want to.
But as you all know, that i have difficulties to go around here.
Public transport is so not convinience and i can't drive.

The most outing will be in the weekend, with family.
We went for shopping, swimming, and dinner.
Speaking of swimming.
I just started my swimming course.
Hahaha.
Funny right.
My holiday left 2 weeks,
and i just started my course.
yah.. better than nothing i guess...

So my daily schedule will goes like this:
-Wake up very early in the morning, like 7 or 8 am. ( Surprise!! )
-Craves for my breakfast: Indomie or leftovers food.
-Brush my teeth ( sometimes )
-Go a quick shower ( if i'm not lazy )
-Main activities:
Play my comp: check mail, fs, fb, blog, Msn, play The Sims2,
Read a novel.
Watch TV.
-Take my early lunch ( even if i'm not hungry )
- Back to main activities.
-Shower ( if i don't shower in the morning)
- Back to main activities.
- Dinner time ( don't even feel hungry )
- Back to main activities.
- Sleep, as early as 11 pm!!

See! my activities are super boring one..
That' why i slot in some hopefully-to-be useful activities.
Such as swimming course and Mandarin Tuition.

And now i got a main task, which is to finish up my RESUME.
It takes time.. more than i thought.
I didn't plan to apply job in this few months,
but it turn out sooner than i had expected.

The only reasons that keep me doing this are because i want to keep it as a memory.

In L♥ve with Bali

Bali, wasn't that convincing when my dad described to me.
The beach wasn't beautiful, dirty, lots of "unpleasant" people,
in short, Bali was more like kampung style and nothing good..

Well, my eyes tells the truth..
It is beyond my expectation..
Bali is a beautiful island.
An exotic and peaceful patch of paradise..
Bali was discovered for the amazing beaches.
Great surfing place, stunning beaches, and famous for other activities, such as diving, watersport, resorts, dining, and nightlife.
Bali is also know as "Land of the Gods"
The religious things in Bali is very strong,
You can even find a God statues and some small tribute every corner of the road.
I really enjoy my stay,
Bali local villagers are very friendly,
The shopping is varied and cheap,
Food is fantastic (provided if you love hot and spicy food),
and the accomodation is affordable and plentiful (again, it's depend on which currency you are at).

We departed from home around 5 am!
Yea, my flight is super early, which is 7 am!! crazy.
But what to do, for Bali.. anything will do..

Our flight was by Merpati airlines.
The suckest airlines ever..
The cabin is super hot and smells..
You know, like the aircon machine already spoiled.
The refreshment is super not appealing and tasteless..
What to do.. anything for Bali..

I think:
80% cleanliness.
the food taste is not bad.
the service also not bad.
Doesn't give a Bali feeling, is like the normal Chinese restaurant.

Nothing much on the first day.
Everybody were tired because of the early flight.
So we all went back to our hotel and take a good sleep.
We had to get up by 7 am on the next day.

Ps:
tips to take taxi at Bali,
bring along your map or GPS.
and make sure the driver use the efficient and correct way.
Some driver will cheat you by turn around and round before get to your destination.
( you know, to increase the meter $)

.Second Day.

Woke up 7 am for breakfast.
and a van fetched some of us to go rafting (Arung Jeram)

Honestly, this was my first time to go rafting (Dufan Theme Park doesn't count, it's lame).
I never want to go, since i don't know how to swim..
but my family tried to convince me, that this rafting, doesn't need swimming skills.
They would gave us a life jacket and helmet.
And there would be an instructor to go along with you in each raft.
So i took a chance.
and it turn out to be very very fun!
It's not that dangerous.
and the people there were very friendly and helpful.

one boat can fit 4-5 person, including the instructor.

There are lots of different rafting company.
and the one that i went, wasn't that bad.
Some rafter starting point are 1 or 2 km after my place
and some are start further.

My rafting place is called
Telaga Waja
The traced along the river of approx 12 km long..with the jungle view on the side.
There were a short training by the instructors.
The rafting took about close to 2 hours with a short break in between.
The break was to take a look at a waterfall.. awesome..
If you keen to see a place with a real nature view, this rafting is able to show you.

-+2 hr drive from my resort.
its located on the mountain side.
This place not only provide rafting.
But also jungle trakking and cycling.

The price is vary. Depend on the season.
Mine, during the peak season, it was cash IDR250.000 (USD 22.85).
I think it's worth..
This include:
a welcome drink, towel, dry bag and buffet lunch.

Free transport if you stay at Sanur, Kuta, Nusa Dua and Ubud.

The rafting had took half of our day.
Rowing, rowing and rowing..
( like i can speed it up, which was actually no effect at all!)
It was tiring..
So to call a day,
we went for a dinner to Jimbaran II.

Eat and dine in the beach.
So romantic..
Too bad, i wasn't with my bf :P

Anyway,
Jimbaran has 2 part.
Jimbaran I and II.
The first Jimbaran was the place where the terrorist bomb attacked back in 2005.

and Jimbaran I has much more crowded than the second one.
So we decided to go to Jimbaran II..

Our main purpose was to see sunset.
But the weather wasn't that good.
It was cloudy and we hardly see the full sunset.

Honestly, it was difficult for me.

but on the exact eve night, i was sleeping!
great! i was too tired and i got no energy to keep me awake till night.

as usual, i am going to tell my journey to Bali...
but not today. i haven't settle up my photos yet
and my sis want to use the pc :(

yes! i am at my home now..

I miss my Mom's food,
I miss Padang food,
I miss martabak,

I realize that my life here is so different..
I got Mommy and Daddy to settle everything for me.
I got food served 24/7.
I got all facilities that i need it without any effort.
I got maid that do laundry, housework, and anything else that i don't want to do.
When back at Sunway, my life is pretty sucks.
I have to do everything on my own.
Everything! and soon, i have to find my own money..
arrghhh... i am just not ready yet..

Christmas Celebration

23-25 Dec 08 @ Singapore.

First of all,
i would like to say thank you to all my friends that has send me a great wishes on the Christmas day...
the messages were simple, but meaningful. Thanks!
I won't be able to list down all the names, but i am so glad that there are so many friends out there that appreciate the meaning of Christmas day..

Well, there were two sms that i like, which were:
1. I've told Santa what i want for Xmas, a good friend that will stay forever. So if a fat man comes around and tries to wrap you up, please cooperate! Merry Christmas. (from Nek)

2. Dear God, please take care of the person who reading this.. not only today, but always, because they will be the one who buy Christmas gift for me. Amen! (from Jack)

Anyway, my Christmas was fun.
Meeting old friends and new friends and i'm glad that my BF also enjoy it.
I was worried in the first place, because all my friends are Indonesian.
But it turn out to be allrite. Thanks again to my friends.
And the biggest credits are goes to the EO, Angel and Sieny. Appreciate your effort to put all of us together on the eve night..

The event is not only an ordinary dinner, but filled with games, "photoshooting", chit-chatting, and etc.. ( ps: I like the games! but not the hugging one :P )
The rest of the days, me and BF just hangin' out from one mall to another mall...
I don't feel that excited anymore, because i've been to those places many times.
Look at the same things again.. it just with different person now.
and it happened that i am so broke (after a huge spent at KL sale) ..
so it was soooo not fun...

Let me intro you to .Port Dickson.

I went to Port Dickson 2 weeks ago.
From the name itself, a bit weird.
Come on, D*ck son... hmm.. sounds awkward :P (sorry, to PD people )
Anyway, i was there for partly holiday, partly attending BF's friend's wedding dinner and partly socializing.
I won't speak much about the wedding, because i think its kinda private.

The water is polluted, till you can see a dark (black) chemical floating around the edge of the coast.
and the most disappointed thing is, there are NO wave!

Culture shock

is the anxiety feeling that resulted when someone go into new environment,
without any familiar signs or symbols,
such as different culture, different language, different social environment...

I have stayed at Malaysia for more than 5 years,
I felt whatever sad feelings for the first 2,5 years, such as lonely, nervous, etc,
which I think it's normal, you know, being away from family and old friends..
HOWEVER, I never felt this worse before.
Since my first step in Sunway, i already met my country mate,
who speak same language and act similar culture.
Even though I went into a different place,but I got along with the familiar people.
I got friends to face all new things.
I do not scared or nervous. I feel like a new home for me.
Practically, I feel excited with my new life.
In addition, I do not really mix with locals or any other foreign students.
Not because I am snobbish or trying to be arrogant, but I already occupied with my own friends and i don't have initiative to know more people which are "speaks differently".
Yea! That was me!
and those were us!
We tend to hide on our own shell and grouping with only our country mate.
We are scared to move out from our comfort zone.

Anyway, for the last 1 year, I feel what I called culture shock!
I took my own steps to go deep into Malaysian culture.
Went for few part times, and engaged with a local Chinese bf.

At first, I do not feel that this going to be hard.
However, the facts are unbelievable.
I've been through rejection, alienation,disrespected, stereotyped, overlooked, exploited and "abused".
I am really having a tough time.
In some way, people are disrespect me for being Chinese physically but not Chinese oriented.
With my sounds-like-Muslim- family name, people labeled me as Muslim and Malay.
and start to judging my family history.
(Sorry, no offence to you, I just want to tell what I am facing here)
I am Chinese and it happens to be unlucky, born in Indonesia, and raised in Jakarta.
Where Chinese culture isn't strong.
We are not belong to Indonesia, where locals are not fully accepted us.
We are also not belong to Chinese, due to some of us barely speaks Chinese language.

Honestly, I am TIRED with all of this.
It seems that I do not belong to anywhere.
I am sick of those people who look down on me because I CAN'T speak Chinese,
I am tired of dwelling with the same questions everyday.. (Refer to end of this post)
I am stressed of those people that criticized my English.

Shortly, I am facing to a new shock for me.
Yes! I am in adaptation process now.
I feel lost,
nervous,
scared,
no confident,
disoriented,
frustration,
don't know what to say,
don't how to react,
don't know how to place myself,
don't know how to speak and express myself..
Deep down inside, I feel sad, lonely, feeling vulnerable, angry, irritated, sensitive, loss my identity, insecurity, longing for my country mate..

In a situation, I feel kind of alienated.
It doesn't mean they disliked me.
But they don't really know the sense of hospitality
and they barely speaks English.
I feel nervous.
I really don't know how to place myself.
I don't know what to say, don't know what to react, don't know where to look, and stuffs.
To me, it's a disaster!
I am an outspoken person, like to talk, hate to be quiet, like to know new people, want to socialize more, always feel being a part of a social circle...
but now...this feelings are hindered by culture barriers.
You know how suffering it is. Is like, not being myself...

I am not trying to reject the new culture.
I am trying to learn it.It isn't easy for me.
I need patient, time, and a little bit respect from people.
I want to be able to speak;
I want to be the same with you all.
I don't want people to look down on me!
I really hope I won't give up.
It does occurred in my mind sometimes, to just go back to my own shell and be happy.
But I guess it isn't wise enough.
I want to be able to excel and see more..Gambate!!!

We went out for another farewell.

A restaurant that offers authentic Balinese cuisine.
It's a little bit pricey, but i guarantee that the food are superb and special...

Finally, we are over it!!!!

We went for outing :)

Besides, this is our last semester.
This is the end of our journey as a student.
Eventhough we might not see each other very soon

But, i am going with my friend. That's one think that i can't refuse to go :)

Tired of being faked in front of camera, facing non-stop flash, seeing pervert photographers,
Tired of entertaining ridiculous, silly, and weird people, who just simply talk to us because we are good-looking ( yes, we are, girl :P )
Tired of stingy, liar, manipulative, and stupid agents/clients,
Tired of being fake or thick face to people, collegues, or anyone that we wish that we never see them....

Well, the most common of people's perception towards freelance are more into negatives...
and it is consider fast-money and brainless job..
In fact, it is...
but,
It is not as easy as what you all see.
It might be brainless, but it is torturing physically
and mentally sometimes...
and i think the sacrifices and risks are worth every penny!

Better illustration :
- How much money that they spend for make-up? not as cheap as a pair of Vincci.
- How much money they spend for different color of shoes to match the uniform?
- How much money they spend for transportation, food, and so on?
- How much to convert their "delay" time, fitting, briefing, interview, and all those hassle?
- It isn't counted some petty things, such as phone calls, sms, tiredness, energy, and so on..

It is not easy, and i never said its a good job..
Honestly, i am lucky.
I am able to climb for better opportunities.
Some of them are stuck their lifes there forever...
They are sexually harassed by guys,
and received the most vicious and evil looks from gals..
So people, please give them at least a little bit respect...
( especially to u, pervert guyss! )

I never been this happy before.

Finally for the first time i feel very release..
I am proudly pronounced that I AM NOT STUDENT anymore.

It is not official yet.

But i'm done with my final exams and practically my student life is over.

.Langkawi Holiday.

I know it is so yesterday and kind of late to post it.
Actually, I wanted to post this holiday pictures, since ages ago..

but i got assignment, tests, jobs, etc.... shortly, i was lazy :P

Anyway, this trip was to replace the Hari Raya holiday.

My BF don't like to go out in peak season or public holiday.

Good thing to have such a "different" bf are
1. I won't face overcrowded environment, no noise, no slow service, less pickpocket.
2. Enjoy cheap rate with a better offer.

So, the trip was a few weeks after Hari Raya

and we enjoy a very cheap rate, RM 700++ for 2 person.

This package is including accomodation and return airticket!

Good thing is that I didn't have to go through a suffering 7+ hrs bus.

I went to Redang Island before with a bus.. It is really torturing!

Thank's to Air Asia.. who make the air ticket so affordable..

It was 1/2 hour flight. It's fast and I barely felt anything.

I felt like got into the seat, fastened the seat belt.. relax.. and unfastened my seat belt again..

No complimentary food or drink, buy we can buy...

In no time, we arrived @ Langkawi Airport.

Small airport..but clean and bright.. still much better than Soekarna Hatta Airport.

Mode of transportation:

Trick for renting a car (by Dutz):

1. Ask the market price to you friend that been to Langkawi or any other place before.

2. Bargain! Ask not only a counter...

3. We rent a MyVi because it is a new car. Wherever you go, MyVi will always looks new and clean. Because this car is produced not long ago and definitely they bought that renting car (also) wasn't too long ago..

Thanks to GPS that gives us a smooth journey..

Accomodation:

Langkasuka Hotel.

Honestly, the hotel was quite ok.

It's clean, greeny, swimming pool, private beach, they even got a bar in the swimming pool!

But i think the management didn't take care very well.

that's why the services a bit lousy, the facilities weren't functioning properly.
No astro, lousy breakfast, lousy room service, and lousy beach.

This was the lousy breakfast. My bf loathed it..

Once we landed, we went for lunch.

We spotted a nice place,

It is Langkawi Yatch club

it is the parking place for those who owns private yatch.

There are few restaurants there, and we decided to enter one of it.

which is:

The restaurant called Tapas.

Offering an authentic Spanish cuisine combine with some other western dishes.

Tapas, in Spanish, means appetizer or finger food, or snacks.

Overall, this is a good restaurant and i'm strongly recommend you to visit here..

I think:

-85% cleanliness

-very good and relaxing environment.

-The food was perfect and i love it.

-a little bit pricey ( but it's worth! )

For the tapas, i chose a sauted mushroom, garlic bread and lamb sausages.

It was difficult for me to order, because i wasn't familiar with Spanish food.

So i chose the one that i think it make sense.. hehehhe..

but i think i won't ride it too often.

i hate sea-sick..

Next round was a beach!
The beach was so so..

no waves..

and no people at all..

so borringggg...

Too excited in the first place...

Boring with the beach..

both of us didn't play much.. so we went to Telaga Tujuh waterfall.

I like waterfall..

since my friends used to bring me to Kajang waterfall.

But one thing i hate about waterfall.

We need to climb hundreds stairs before we reach the waterfall!

i hate stairs. That is my weakness.

Night time,

we showered, rest for a while and went out for a late dinner.

It was at:

This place is more like dining-style, with matching cutlery and silverware, attentive and friendly waiter/ss and bla bla bla....in short, the food were damn good!!

On the left is, the tofu, not an ordinary tofu, it is a tofu with fillings inside.

On the back is, a fish, cooked with Nyonya sauce. Excellent taste!

Dessert: a banana fritter paired with a scope of vanilla ice cream

I think Putu Mayo:

-Very nice to dine in and i strongly recommend for you all.

- Romantic, comfortable, and relaxing ambience.

- The waiter/ss and manager are very friendly and attentive. two thumbs up.

- The food is also delicious and unique.

- 80% cleanliness

- pricey! ( but i think its worth, except the fish )

.Day II.

Before proceed to further trip, we took our lunch at a thai restaurant.

I forgot what is the name, but it was not that good.

Why?

- The food is so normal.

- The ambience gives a weird feeling.

- 60% cleanliness.

- Normal service from the floor crew.

- not that cheap, tho..

Next trip would be Langkawi Underwater World!!!!

Yeay!!! i love this place.

I can't wait to go inside and have fun...This underwater world is so far, the best thing in Langkawi, followed by duty free shops.

This place is strictly for those who loves animal, especially fish.

Ticket price is around RM20+ ( if im not mistaken)

The day start with McD.

It always taste the same everywhere we go.

Btw, this branch has a very rude cashier when she knew that we are not foreign tourist!

Next trip we went to Field of Burnt Rice.

Its nothing there. Just a piece of history land and a house.

wasting our time!

and there are lots of shops sellings souveniers around there.

Some of it, not a local souvenir, and which i can get it cheaper in my own country!

We also went to some makam Mahsuri ( graveyard ) of historical hero also... another boring place...

History is always not my choice.

We went for a beach

I forgot whats the name, but we are in the middle of the day.

it was very hot..

I couldn't stand very long outdoor.

3 days 2 nite is just nice for us.
frankly, there is nothing much in Langkawi.

I mean those entertainment was so ordinary: food, dwells, historical place, waterfalls, go-kart, etc.

And the beach is not that happening.

Maybe we just didn't spot the right one.

Compare with Redang, i prefer the Redang's beach. But wanna more comparison..

try Bali :P

For me, the best from Langkawi is the Underwater World and Duty free shop.

The chocz and liquor are cheap!

Appreciation List

Today i feel so relax, peacefully sitting in front of my laptop, surfing lazily, sipping a cup of green tea latte, air conditioned rooms and comfy pajamas..This is called a h.a.p.p.y. m.o.m.e.n.t.

I have been living in this world for 23 years. I see different2 moments: happy, sad, poor, rich, famous, sicked, about to die, critical situation, achievement, loved, marriage, divorce, new life, crying, grieve, sorrow, life and death, broken-hearted and so on. I realized that my life is fully blessed.

We are human, and always never get satisfied..
We always want more, high demand, less work, and get jelaous of others.

We compare ourselves with others that literally better than us.

Always compare, compare and compare...

Including me,

I always think that he is better than me, she is prettier than me, he is smarter than me, she got more money than me, he always wear branded, how the feel to be like him or her, i wish i can be like her, i wish i am as rich as him, i wish i can get straight HD, i wish i can travel around the world like her, I wish i can get a good BF like him... and so on..

But when i think back,

i realized that i got much blesses that i never appreciated.

If i look back, there are some people that even more struggle in the their lifes. So i want to make A List of Appreciation to make my life more meaningful..

This list is to count how much happiness does GOD had blessed for me.

To see lifes in different angle and deeply thankful even to the smallest positive moment.

Thanks GOD for:

Letting me breathe smoothly. (try to hold your breathe and imagine if there is no oxygen!)
Giving me healthiness, possessing and enjoying a good health mentally and physically. (imagine if you are disabled!)
Blessing me with happy family. (so many of us are from broken-family).
Provide me with good food and enough wealth. At least i can sleep at nice room, air-conditined, fully furnished with a laptop and comfy bed, water-heater 24/7, good neighbourhood, etc.
Sufficient education: kindergarten to degree cert, tons of books and magz, fast internet. (Lot of us really want to study, but financially unable to support them).
Perfect BF: love you, dut!
Friends. Not letting us alone in this world.
Sufficient entertainment: Games, PS, toys, tv, radio, mp3 player, cinema, dvd/cd, hang out with friends, shopping.
Supporting gadget: handphone, laptop. (I can't live without hp)
Sufficient clothing: able to wear decent outfit. (Some people are hardly eat, how to spend for clothes?)
Free time. (Some people just don't have options but to work)
Experiences that makes my life colorful.
Sun that shine, tree and plants thats make the world green. (imagine if the world without sun!)
Water to quench thirst.
Existence of green tea: latte, candy, mochi, ice-cream.
Hair rebonding : i can have a lovely straight hair !! :)
Letting me finish off my final exam.
Protecting me from "bad, ugly and nasty" people out there.
Helping me through out my difficult time.
The existence of this blog.
Giving me opportunity to graduate

How many friends you have?

When a person asked you, " How many friends do you have?" common answers: "You can check out my friendster list. I have 1000++ friends and my facebook 1500++ friends and my ... bla bla bla...."

The question is, " Are they your true friends?"
How many of them can you actually consider as your TRUE FRIENDS?
one perhaps ? two? or none?

Either purposely or not, many of us forgot the meaning of FRIENDSHIP. Friend is not someone that you can take for granted. And they are not someone that you can b*tched around.

It took quite sometimes for me to figure out who and what is true friend.
For me, T R U E friend is
-Someone that always be there for you. Sad or happy.
-Aways be friend no matter how far they apart or how long they haven't meet each other.
-Wish you "happy birthday"
-Someone that always share their feelings.
-Sincere, pure, honest
-Someone you can trust. He/she can keep your secrets.
-Always support you in anything.
-Give an effort to spend time with you.
-Someone that we can rely on for comfort or advice.
-Trying best to help without expecting anything in return.
-Know how to divide equal time between their partner and friends.
-Shows care and affections.
-Someone that can understand us.

-Shopping mate, online buddy, study partner, roomate, housemate, colleague, neighbours, sport teams, ...anyone.
-Put aside their ego.

-Someone that not judge us by material, looks, and so on.

-Somone that never fail to keep their promises.

-Someone that never ditch friends for stupid reasons.

What's next?

My college life is going to end very soon..
very2 soon....
in 2 weeks time..

I just can't believe it.
I have been studying for the last 5 years and i'm sick of it !
and finally, the "day" will come.. *pop the confetti*

But is the 'big' day will become my happy-ever-after life?
What is next?
What should i do?
Will i work? where? when? how?
This questions has been occupying my mind for the last 3 months.
This isn't that simple,
This is the time when a person moves into new phase of life.
and when they have to make some crucial decision in their life.

I have to figure out what should i do next.
This is the time when i will be forced to be independent.
To spread my wings and fly away by myself.
I feel nervous.
I feel scared too.

For some people,
this is not so complicated,
they have someone to settle for them.
But for me, i have to find my own way.
I need to find my own ladder.

In these days,
I find myself lost in a misty sky.
I don't know what i want.
I don't know where my passion goes.
I forget what is my goals.

Dr. Fish Spa

I wanted to try this for so long and finally...

I went to this interesting place, called Dr. Fish Spa a.k.a Foot Master.
This place is offering fish therapy and massage.
For me massage is normal things, but fish therapy is something new and unique! 30 minutes @ 38ringgit .Quite pricey.
They have few planted tanks ( aquarium ) which consist of different type of fish, ranging from the small (something like bilis / salty fish) to the slightly bigger ( 2-3 cm i think). Those fish are originally from Turkey, Korea, China, and so on.

So what we gonna do is first to rinse our feet before entering to aquariums section. At least to wash away some dirt or germs. After that, we put our feet into the aquarium and the fish will do the rest...

What the fish do??

The hungry fish are either sucking and eating only your dead areas of the skin. So leaving the healthy, nice and smoother skin. This some kind of "scrubing" the unhealthy and ugly skin away i guess. In fact this also good for a skin disease treatment. The process will not cause any pain.. but for some ppl ( like Ayang and Grant ) will find it very tingling..

.History.
Back in 2006, those fish are actually used for cleaning the bathers's feet at some spa in Japan.
This "fish services" become more popular since someone trademarked the treatment in USA, with the name Dr. Fish. Nowadays, this fish thingy are very popular in China, South Korea, Singapore, Malaysia, etc.

.Limitation.
I think the water is not hygiene. There are so many different feet go inside the water in one day. There is a chances to get skin disease/allergic. Plus, not everyone's feet is clean and healthy...
